CIREBON - Rabu (30/10) Dalam rangka ulang tahun yang ke-5 Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak (RSIA) Cahaya Bunda Cirebon melakukan penanaman bibit pohon mangrove sebanyak 2000 pohon sebagai bentuk kepedulian terhadap lingkungan hidup khususnya hutan mangrove di RW 09 Kesunean Selatan, Kelurahan Kasepuhan, Kota Cirebon.

Sebagai negara kepulauan, Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara dengan luas hutan mangrove terbesar di dunia. Dan hutan mangrove punya peran penting dan manfaat besar bagi lingkungan sekitar khususnya bagi penduduk pesisir Kota Cirebon, Jawa Barat. (fhs)
